London Camera Exchange Chester and Sony will be holding a hands on event at Chester falconry and Nature Gardens with brand ambassador and wildlife photographer Luke Massey.
Luke Massey is a wildlife photographer and cameraman. His work has been awarded in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year as well as winning Travel Photographer of the Year's Wildlife category 2016 and the Wildscreen Panda award for Emerging Talent in 2018.
His work has been widely published from National Geographic & BBC Wildlife, to Geographical and Outdoor Photography. He travels the world looking for interesting wildlife stories as well as documenting important conservation topics too.
Along with demonstrations and talks from Luke during the day attendees will also have the opportunity to try the very latest Sony equipment and have a chance to try and capture that perfect shot of the Cathedrals birds of prey in flight.
A light lunch at Chester Cathedrals Refectory Cafe is included within the price as is a 12x18 inch print of your favourite shot of the day.
This event is open to photographers of all levels and is not limited to just Sony users so why not bring your current kit along to compare.
The Itinerary for the day
9.30am - Meet at LCE Chester store,9 Bridge Street Row, CHESTER, CH1 1NW
Briefing of the day’s event, handing out of camera & lenses and Q&A
10am – Leave store and walk to Watergates restaurant for Luke Massey’s presentation.
11.00am – Walk over to the Bird of prey centre.
Starting with shooting Portraits/Static images of the birds and reptiles.
Then varying displays where we will have control to change the direction of the birds flight to get a variety of images. You may also have the opportunity to handle and fly the birds.
1.15pm – Make our way to the Cathedral Cafe for lunch and an image Review to select your favourite picture for 12x18 print.
2.15pm – For those who wish to stay after lunch we will make our way back to Watergates restaurant for an image Review to select your favourite picture for 12x18 print and Q&A
