Sony Live | Dodo to Peregrine, Faster, Lighter and Quieter
14/10/2021 12:30 - 13:30
WHERE: Virtual event on the LCE Facebook page
BRANCH ORGANISING: LCE Winchester
Professional nature photographer, and LCE customer, Stuart Robinson talks with Mark Baber from Sony UK and Ireland about his journey from DSLR cameras to Sony full-frame mirrorless models, with the occasional APS-C stop along the way.
Stuart is an award-winning wildlife photographer and has worked with the BBC Natural History Unit, Discovery Channel and conservation charities such as Chester Zoo. Aside from the technological advances, the switch to Sony mirrorless has also meant, at times, a more portable kit bag. This is a huge benefit in the field as he can travel light to scout an area before returning armed with 600mm and 100-400mm G-Master lenses.
In his work with events and marketing organisations, Stuart now exclusively shoots on Sony bodies, choosing between the A9 and A7RIII, with an A7III as a backup. In the webinar, he’ll explain the benefits of each, and how being able to shoot silently can be a game-changer.
