Leofoto YB-75LP Half Ball Levelling Adapter (Long with hook)

The YB-75LP is a half ball levelling adapter base to use with system tripods that can take a 75mm video bowl such as the Leofoto Summit tripods. Twisting the main locking knob that's under the apex of the tripod will unlock it and let you manoeuvre the half ball bowl to level off the top of the tripod. There is an integrated bullseye bubble level to aid in achieving a level platform. This is especially useful if using it with a fluid video head, a gimbal head, or for panoramic landscape shooting where you want to get level panning movements.

This longer version gives easier access to the locking knob as it's further down from the apex of the tripod. That extra length over the short low profile and standard versions also provides more leverage when moving the bowl for easier adjustment. The trade off compared to the low profile one is slightly extra weight and it limits how low you can get if you want to do ground level shooting. This longer version also features a hook which you can use to hang extra weight from.

To attach the base to your tripod just completely unscrew the twist lock and then pass the top through the video bowl attachment and screw the twist lock back on from underneath.

There are also three grub screws around the base which you can screw in to secure your tripod head and prevent any unwanted twisting / unscrewing.
