If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase LCE will offer you a refund within 14 days of you receiving your order, providing items are returned to LCE in original and unused condition, with proof of purchase. Under the Consumer Rights Act you have a legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund or an exchange. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you receive your product.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, a customer is allowed to return an item if they simply change their mind. A customer has the right to cancel at any time from the moment they place their online or mail order, and up to 14 days from the day they receive the goods. The customer then has a further 14 days from the date they notify the retailer of their cancellation to return the goods - There are exemptions to online returns which include tailor made/personalised goods.
Goods must be returned with all accessories, packaging and instructions.
Items can be returned to a local store or returned by post. The cost of returning an item is to be borne by the customer.
A deduction can be made from the refund amount if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
Refunds will be issued by the same method as original payment was made and refunds will be issued within 14 days of LCE receiving your returned items.
Cashback, extended warranties must not be claimed on items that have or are going to be returned.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Digital products and cameras must be returned with the manufacturers seal on software intact.
The refund offer above does not apply to film and other sensitised materials, or to developing and printing services.

Items of new hardware sold by LCE come with a minimum of 1-year manufacturers guarantee. The guarantee period provided by LCE for used and refurbished items is generally 6 months, but this may vary and will be notified at the point of purchase. If an item that we supplied fails due to a manufacturing fault within the guarantee period, please contact the branch where the purchase was made to arrange a guarantee repair.
