London Camera Exchange is thrilled to announce an exclusive Nikon Z system hands-on experience day for 15 lucky customers. This exciting event will take place at a private hospitality box at the Utilita Bowl, Southampton on Sunday 29th June, where attendees will get to enjoy the first-day action of the County cricket match between Hampshire and Worcestershire.

It’s a perfect setting to test and capture high-action sports photography with the latest Nikon gear. Great views out over the pitch will be available from the private box with access to a reserved terrace outside, plus space should be available for shooting pitch side offering further excellent vantage points. Buffet style food and drink will be provided by the venue throughout the day and is included in the ticket price.

What to Expect-

On this special day, customers will get the unique opportunity to try out the latest Nikon Z system cameras and lenses. This includes the opportunity to test drive the latest bodies such as the Z 6III, Z5II & Z50II, along with a range of high-end Nikon Z lenses and the amazing Nikon CoolPix P1100 bridge camera.

Subject to confirmation an A3 printer should be in action at the event with one or two complimentary prints on offer per customer of their favourite image/images taken on the day (A3 or A4 print size as available, commencing from 1pm approx).

The experience of the day will be enhanced by the event host Bruno from Nikon UK. Bruno will open the event with a short presentation on the latest Nikon Z system technology & features and how this up your game for sports and action photography. He will on hand throughout the day, providing attendees with practical tips and inspiration.

Along with the LCE team, Bruno will also conduct a localised walk-around of the ground, guiding customers through camera setups and settings to help them get the best out of their Nikon kit. Whether you’re looking to switch to Nikon Z, upgrade your current kit, or simply eager to test the latest models, this day is tailored for you.


Event Schedule:

• 10:00am - 10:15am: Arrival and Registration, Coffee and Refreshments

• 10:15am - 10:45am: Intro & Presentation by Bruno Murari from Nikon UK, inc Q & A

• 10:45am - 11:00am: Selection of Nikon demo kit by each customer (items can be swapped and shared throughout the day)

• 11:00am - 12:30pm: First Shooting Session (Printing starts around 12.30pm if available)

• 12:30pm - 1:00pm: De-brief by Bruno from Nikon followed by Lunch Break (match stops at around 1pm and restarts at 1.40pm approx). Buffet style lunch provided in the private box by the venue staff

• 2:00pm - 3:30pm: Second Shooting Session (match stops for tea at around 3:40pm)

• 3:30pm - 4:00pm: Refreshments & then debrief with the Nikon & LCE teams (further chance for Printing if available) and option for short final shooting session

• 4:30pm - 5:00pm: Return of Nikon demo kit and final chance to discuss any potential purchases and trade-ins with LCE (exclusive special offers will be valid for a limited period after the event, via the LCE So'ton Civic branch only)

• 5:00pm: Event finish but the match to continue until 6:00pm approx, so option to remain in the stands with your own camera kit to take further pictures etc
