Chichester Peregrine Falcons with Opticron

If you’re considering upgrading or purchasing your first Birdwatching Optics, then come and join us In-Store and at Chichester Cathedral to observe the Chichester Peregrine Falcons with expert Ornithologist Rob from Opticron. Enjoy a free trial session and tutorial on Opticron Binoculars and Fieldscopes.
Rob from Opticron will be joining us on 24th May to share his expert knowledge of the Opticron product range and we’ll have demonstration units for you to sample for free. We’ll be hosting two sessions, one at 10am in the morning and the other at 1pm in the afternoon. Rob has been birding for over 30 years now and has travelled all over the world amassing an impressive list of observations, so he’ll be passing on his tips and tales to get the most out of your Birdwatching.
The sessions will start in-store where Rob will give us a technical briefing on the latest products including the Aurora and DBA VHD range of Binoculars, MM4 Spotting Scopes and the recently launched Imagic IS Image Stabilised Binoculars.
We’ll then take the 5-minute stroll to Chichester Cathedral where we can test out the Opticron range, looking to observe the famous Chichester Peregrine Falcons. These fantastic birds of prey have been using the Cathedral spire as a nesting site for over 20 years and have successfully fledged more than 70 chicks. They are a common sight and sound around our wonderful city so with a small amount of luck we’ll spot them on the day.
