INTRODUCING THE NEW FUJIFILM X-T50

Thanks to the partnership between the sensor and processor, the X-T50 utilises Fujifilm's remarkable subject detection by harnessing the potential of deep learning A.I. technology. The X-T50 is able to provide autofocus accuracy and responsiveness that isn't limited to just human faces and eyes - it extends its capabilities to a wide range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, bicycles, aircraft, and even trains.

With an impressive eight frames per second, while using the mechanical shutter or 20 frames per second using the electronic shutter the X-T50 is an ideal companion for high octane subjects, whether that’s sports, wildlife or day to day family life. It also supports a top shutter speed of 180,000th of a second pretty much freezing most subjects you come across.

If you're a more of a hybrid shooter or venturing into video, the X-T50 has you covered. It offers a wide range of options from up to 6.2 K at 30 frames per second to 4K 60 frames, and even 1080P at 240 frames per second, which is perfect for creating stunning slow motion footage. With its unparalleled versatility, the X-T50 is an ideal choice when you want to capture high quality content. With the X-T50 being tailored towards stills, there's no video or movie switch, however it is easily accessible tucked away neatly in the drive menu and with that 6k resolution and 422 10bit internal recording Fujifilm really haven't held back.

If you want more post-production flexibility, you can shoot in F-Log2, which enhances the camera's dynamic range to an impressive 13 stops. This extended range brings out details in shadows, highlights and Midtones offering unmatched creative control during post-processing. And it doesn't just stop there. You can output raw video via HDMI when paired with a compatible Atomos device. Recording in 12 bit Apple Pro Res or Blackmagic RAW. This versatility ensures that your workflow remains as flexible as your creative demands, and you can also link the X-T50 to up to a cloud based workflow like frame IO without requiring additional accessories.

You will find the usual USB-C headphone socket and 3.5mm jack on the side, whilst a single UHS II compatible SD card slot is found next to the battery. While shooting you have the choice of using the tilting touchscreen LCD monitor, or you can choose to use the 2.36M-dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder ensuring that your viewing experience is nothing short of optimal. Powering the X-T50 is the Fujifilm NP-W126S Li-ion Battery commonly seen throughout Fujifilm's lineup with a full charge you are good to go for approximately 390 still images or up to 45 minutes of either 6K or 4K 60p video recording.
