Leofoto VH-30R Two Way Dual Panorama Head

The Leofoto VH-30R head is a dual panoramic two way (Pan + Tilt) head. Ideal for wildlife watching with long lenses or spotting scopes on either a tripod or monopod. It can also be used for video in place of a fluid head.

The head features two larger knobs on each side which controls the tilt operation. One to set the friction and one to lock the head in place. The panning functions at the top and bottom also feature locking knobs, both of which can be pulled away from the body to reposition them to avoid colliding with other equipment when using their panning functionality. Lastly the top clamp is arca swiss compatible and locked and unlocked with the round knob on the side.

Dual panning functionality comes in handy due to being able to rotate the whole head to face you with the bottom rotation after screwing it on top of a tripod that's been set up. Then if you want to either follow some sideways movement along the horizon, or create stitched panoramas, you can rotate the top of the clamp whilst maintaining your level position.

On the rear of the head you will find two 1/4" ports (one each on the left and right) where you can attach the included control arm. The arm can be used to control the movement and is also removable for easier transportation.

To aid with quick levelling of the head, you can pair it up with one of the Leofoto Ranger CEX tripods with an integrated levelling base, a Leofoto Summit Tripod with a levelling bowl. Alternatively place a separate Leofoto levelling base between the head and the tripod to add this option to existing equipment.
