Nikon + RED Colour Science
The collaboration between Nikon and RED ensures seamless production workflow integration. The ZR records in REDCODE RAW (R3D NE) with REDWideGamutRGB and Log3G10—matching RED''s cinema cameras—while also supporting Nikon''s N-RAW, ProRes RAW HQ/422 HQ, and H.264/H.265. Capture up to 6K60, 4K120, or 1080p240 for fluid slow-motion playback.

Professional Audio
With 32-bit float and 24-bit audio recording, the ZR delivers uncompromising sound quality. Built-in configurable mics, a line input for external microphones, and a digital accessory shoe for shotgun mics like the ME-D10 provide versatility. Standard 48 kHz linear PCM ensures video compatibility, and a headphone jack allows precise monitoring.

Recording & Output
Media is stored on CFexpress cards via a compact battery-door slot. A micro-HDMI output supports external monitoring or recording devices.
