At the same time, the SFL binoculars offer perfect image quality despite the incredible reduction in weight and volume.

Even in extreme situations such as rain or high humidity, you''ll always enjoy a clear view thanks to the lenses'' LotuTec® coating, which water droplets and dust particles simply pearl off of. Our proven SmartFocus concept makes handling the binoculars easy and comfortable. It includes a perfectly positioned focus wheel in the DoubleLink Bridge for fast and precise focusing - even when wearing gloves. Whether you have everything in view or an eye for the smallest details, the focusing range from close focus to infinity is only 1.4 rotations apart. Improved eyecups also guarantee an ergonomic feel with smooth transitions between the touchpoints, which are precisely defined and can be reached perfectly. With its new SFL binoculars - "SmartFocus and Lightweight" - ZEISS now offers compact high-performance binoculars that, thanks to their lightweight, do not add to the load, even on longer excursions. The new SFL binoculars are optimized in every respect for a lightweight and compact size. For example, the lens diameter has been reduced by 2 mm, making it possible to use thinner lens elements at closer spacing and thus reduce the binoculars'' weight by up to 20% and their volume by up to 13% compared to the ZEISS Victory SF models. As a result, the new SFL binoculars are up to 30% lighter than comparable products from competitors. The lightweight but rugged magnesium housing also enhances durability and longevity - for generations to come.

Despite their lightweight and compact design, the new SFL models are high-performance binoculars through and through. With a field of view of up to 140 meters at a distance of 1,000 meters (SFL 8x40) and a closest focusing distance of 1.5 meters, they deliver a perfect overview combined with precise detail recognition. The ultra-high-definition (UHD) concept features a special coating and an improved optical design that ensures the binoculars deliver the highest level of detail and reproduce colours with natural fidelity.
