24.2-Megapixel Stacked Sensor
The EOS R1's 24.2-megapixel full-frame sensor, with a back-illuminated, stacked design, offers superb sensitivity and speed. It supports a max electronic shutter speed of 1/64,000 sec with minimal rolling-shutter distortion and continuous shooting up to 40 fps. A 16-point separation low-pass filter effectively reduces false colours and moiré, preserving fine details.

DIGIC Accelerator
The combination of DIGIC Accelerator and DIGIC X image processors delivers phenomenal performance. Enhanced AF tracking maintains sharp focus on people, animals, and objects, even when momentarily obscured. The Action Priority mode identifies key moments in sports and adjusts AF areas accordingly.

Action Priority Focus Mode
