Leofoto LB-65 Tripod Levelling Base

The Leofoto LB-65 levelling base is designed to go between the top of your tripod and your tripod head. With a tilt range of -15 to +15 degrees this allows for easier levelling at the top of your tripod than trying to adjust the length of individual legs. Useful for video shooters and panoramic landscape photographers, easily get your horizon level using the attached spirit level on the base. Lock and unlock the levelling adjustment with a small twist of the silver collar.

The bottom of the base has a 3/8" mounting hole to go on the top of most tripods and in the box is a thread adapter to also attach it to the less commonly used 1/4" tripods studs. There is a 3/8" stud on the top to attach your tripod head onto the top (it isn't possibly to attach heads that use a 1/4" female screw thread at their base). There are three optional hex grub screws to secure the head to the base to stop it unscrewing when you use the pan feature on your head.

There are also two holes on the black ring around the bottom, which you can use with an Allen key to get more leverage to tighten the base onto your tripod if required.
