The Leofoto MP-150 macro focusing rail allows for fine movement of your camera. This is useful if you are doing close up macro shooting with a very shallow depth of field and you need multiple images to focus stack. Using a focusing rail will keep all your shots in line which will make post production easier. You can also use it for small adjustments for other shots which may be tricker to do by either adjusting your tripod head or by focusing the lens.

The rail itself will clamp straight into an arca swiss compatible tripod head and you can move it backwards and forwards for rough positioning. You can also attach it via the 1/4" threaded mounting holes on the underside of the rail. The clamp on the top of the rail is also arca swiss compatible for clamping your camera on top. You can also use two rails together, clamping one on top of the other to get two axis fine adjustment control.

A full 360 rotation of the handle will result in a travel distance of 1.25mm. The handle also folds up to make it more compact when not in use.

Available with either a lever lock or a screw lock on the clamp. The lever can be fine tuned with an Allen key to adjust the clamping pressure when using different width quick release plates. The screw lock version just requires you to turn the screw until it's clamped down on the plate without needing any prior adjustment or setup.
