The Leofoto MPG-01 compact monopod gimbal head is a small and lightweight alternative to more traditional gimbal heads. Designed for use with long lenses, mounting via their lens foot. Clamp the lens onto the head using the integrated screw knob and adjust forward and backwards in the clamp to balance your set up. This allows you to tilt the camera and lens into position and be able to let go without it moving. You can also lock the tilt in place using the large screw knob on the side.

You can mount the head onto any standard 3/8" stud by screwing it on. Alternatively the base of the head is Arca Swiss compatible and can attach into most Arca Swiss clamps if you've got one installed on the top of your monopod. You can pan by either rotating the whole set up, or you can use it in combination with a Leofoto panning clamp such as RH-1L or RH-2L (available separately, contact our Chichester branch for details).

Works with lens feet that have integrated Arca Swiss compatible dovetails, replacement feet such as the Leofoto SF-02 / NF-05 etc, or by screwing on a compatible quick release plate. The head comes with an included QP-70N quick release plate (70mm length), or you may prefer a longer PU-90D (available separately).
