For the first time in a Nikon Z series camera, the Z FC offers exposure compensation in AUTO mode. This groundbreaking feature allows photographers to achieve their desired expression by fine-tuning brightness, enhancing silhouettes, etc. Additionally, the camera comes with 20 Creative Picture Control options, enabling users to experiment with different themes, hues, toning, and saturation levels. Enhanced Focus Capabilities and Versatile Shooting
This mirrorless camera supports Eye-Detection AF and Animal-Detection AF when shooting stills and video, features previously introduced in the Nikon Z 7II and Z 6II. The wide-area AF (L) AF-area mode is supported, ensuring precise focus on eyes and faces by limiting the focus area, even in complex shooting scenarios. Whether taking portraits of multiple subjects or tracking the movements of your pet, the Z FC allows for continuous focus on the eyes to produce outstanding results.

This mirrorless camera also features the first-of-its-kind vari-angle monitor among Z series cameras, allowing for vertical shooting from low or high angles, while the self-portrait mode activates automatically when the monitor is rotated to the front. Increased Connectivity with SnapBridge Ver. 2.8
The Nikon Z FC comes with increased connectivity thanks to the latest SnapBridge app (Ver. 2.8). Seamlessly transfer photos and videos from the camera to a smart device** for effortless sharing on social media platforms. Users can also update their camera firmware via the app, ensuring they always have access to the latest features and improvements.

SnapBridge Ver. 2.8 introduces two automatic connection modes: foreground mode and background mode. In foreground mode, the camera connects to the app only when it is activated, minimising battery consumption. Background mode establishes a constant connection, automatically transferring images even when the app is not in use.
